Of course, we had to show the colors on the "patio" with a Razorback flag. We were pitted alongside the long strait from turn 3 to turn 5.

GT1 car coming under the Sargento bridge. (They take their cheese very seriously in Wisconsin.) Waking up at 8 a.m. with a 600 hp behemouth bellowing past 20 feet from your bed is an experience.

What can happen at any time in racing. We stumbled across this Spec Miata that had been totalled during an open test day on the Monday we arrived at the track.

Fully 25% of the total entry were Mazda cars or Mazda powered cars, such as this Formula Mazda, powered by a rotary engine such as those in an RX-7. Mazda is very aggressive in their sponsorship of grassroots motorsports.
